Preethi

Preethi products are designed and manufactured to the highest standards and deliver high-quality performance, ease of use and installation. If you encounter any difficulties while using your product, we recommend that you first consult the user manual or contact our customer care service one call assistance @ 9940000005 (9am-6pm Monday-Saturday)

In the unlikely event of a failure of the product, company will arrange for your product to be serviced, free-of-charge when you inform us of the defect during the warranty period, provided that the product was used in accordance with the user manual (e.g. in the intended environment).

This document only applies to Preethi Kitchen appliances– Mixer Grinder, Gas stoves, Chimneys & other categories

  • Preethi Annual Maintenance Contract has many powerful features like factory trained technicians, Preethi genuine spares, discount on spares and service at your door steps with regular updates
  • This Chimney Cleaning Contract is Only for Preethi Chimneys designed for domestic use.
  • This AMC is only applicable for Preethi products designed for domestic use and will become void if product is used for any purpose other than domestic use
  • The product along with their Serial No/Model No to be registered mandatorily at the time of availing AMC
  • You are required to retain the Preethi product AMC receipt and show to our Service Personnel for scrutiny during maintenance visits.
  • Product Should be in working condition.
  • This contract is non-transferable.
  • We do not entertain refund and cancellation in any circumstances.
  • AMC does not cover damage of Preethi appliances due to mishandling, negligence, breakage or any unauthorized usage.
  • Service and replacement of spares under AMC does not extend the term of warranty in any manner.
  • For repairs after the expiry of the warranty period our customer care centre will charge for the cost of components replaced. There will be no service/labour charges.
  • Defective components which are exchanged or replaced both under ‘Chargeable’ & ’Free of Charge’ basis, become the property of the company.
  • If any of the Preethi appliances is tampered with or opened by any unauthorized person, the AMC becomes void.
  • Customer can book an appointment by calling Preethi One call assistance @9940000005 and avail the deep cleaning services as per their convenient timing.
  • As per the AMC package, respective number of deep cleaning service needs to be availed by the consumer within the stipulated 1year period, failing which the AMC will cease to exist.
  • If the consumer who has availed AMC moves to another location outside the state, he may continue to avail the AMC in his new location subject to following conditions: Communicates such request for change of location to Preethi mail id: care@preethi.in Such change of location is subject to approval by Preethi. Approval of such relocation is at the discretion of Preethi.
  • In case of non-availability of this service in the new location or cancellation of AMC by Preethi, no refund shall be entertained.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Chennai Court.

Warranty terms

The warranty period starts on the date of purchase as stated on your proof-of-purchase and expires at the end of the period indicated in the section “Warranty period”. If you require service but you lost your proof-of-purchase or the retailer is unknown to Preethi (e.g. a seller on an on-line auction channel), the warranty period shall be deemed to have started three months from the date of manufacture indicated on the product or derived from the serial number. If you require service for products without production date or serial number on the product a valid proof-of-purchase is required.

Extended Warranty

  • All Preethi products are eligible for an extended warranty of 12 months in addition to the Default Warranty Period.
  • 1 year extended warranty will commence after the completion of standard product warranty period as stated on your proof-of-purchase, on the same terms and conditions as applicable for standard warranty.
  • Standard & extended warranty does not cover any physical damage to the product.
  • The offer is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or products.
  • Invoice copy of purchase from this website must be presented to claim the additional warranty.
  • In case of product category which is not part of Home visit, same can be opted by paying separate Home visit charges as applicable.
  • The warranty does not cover consequential damages (including but not limited to loss of data or loss of income), nor compensation for activities done by yourself, such as regular maintenance, installing firmware updates or saving or restoring data.
    The warranty excludes, or does not apply if:
  • The proof-of-purchase has been altered in any way or is made illegible.
  • The model number, serial number or production date code on the product has been altered, removed or made illegible.
  • Repairs or product modifications have been carried out by unauthorized service organizations or persons.
  • The defect is the result of excessive use outside the intended purpose. Example- commercial uses The defect is caused by abuse of the product or by environmental conditions that are not in conformance with the user manual of the product.
  • The defect is caused by connecting peripherals, additional equipment or accessories other than those recommended in the user manual.
  • The unit has been damaged, including but not limited to damage by animals, lightning, abnormal voltage, fire, natural disaster, transportation or water (unless the user manual expressly states that the product may be rinsed).
  • Normal wear and tear, or replacement of consumable parts
